A reminder that there are NO services at Breadsall church on Sunday 19th February. A joint service will be held at Morley church at 1030.

We are doing this to reduce the heating costs.

Minnows will meet this Monday morning, December 19th, between 10am and midday. Please note the date and times. Our Christmas visitor will also be attending. Hope to see as many as possible there.

Don’t forget the Christmas Concert this evening by the All Saints Singers, Duffield Singers and Amari Ladies Choir plus students from Derby Music Academy

We will celebrate harvest on Sunday 2 October in our morning services. The 1015 service will be a special communion service for all the family. Gifts of produce will be sent to the Padley Centre and cash gifts sent to the Pakistan relief fund. After the services, Evie is selling cakes to help fund her trip to Africa next year. Please support her as well.

The 8am service will also be Holy Communion.

The church will be open between 1000 and 1600 Monday – Friday for anyone to come and light a candle to remember the life of Queen Elizabeth II.

A book of condolence will be available to sign from Monday (as soon as it is received from the supplier). Flowers may be left in the Garden of Remembrance to the east of the church. Flowers will be removed on the morning of the funeral.

It is with great sadness we hear of the death of Queen Elizabeth.

The church will be open from 10am Friday 9th September for any who wish to remember or reflect on the life our Monarch for 70 years.

A word of apology for those of you looking here for details of services. I had failed to notice that the calendar events I had created had ceased to be valid and this meant there were no services showing.

They are now in for rest of the year (subject to update for 5th Sunday, Harvest and Remembrance)

The funeral service for Pat Tidsall will be held at 12 noon on Friday 1st July. This time replaces the previously notified times.

There will be a chance to meet with members of the family and others who remember Pat over coffee and snacks in church after the service. If you can bring something to share it would be appreciated.
